The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Giants at Cowboys

The most balanced division talent-wise in the NFL is the NFC East this season, as two rivals will wrap up Week 7. The Cowboys are beyond desperation mode at 1-4, while the Giants invade the Lone Star State coming off three consecutive wins. Dallas had high hopes for an NFC Championship, but the Cowboys may not finish higher than the third in the NFC East.

The Cowboys entered their bye week at 1-2 after blowing out cross-state rival Houston in Week 3 by a 27-13 count. Wade Phillips' team figured the tables were turning, but Dallas stubbed its toe at home in Week 5 to Tennessee, 34-27, despite outgaining the Titans by 190 yards. Following an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on a touchdown celebration, Dallas allowed Tennessee to break a 27-27 tie thanks to a short Chris Johnson score in the final five minutes.

Dallas was in another must-win situation at Minnesota last week, as the Cowboys led the desperate Vikings, 14-7 at halftime. Percy Harvin's kickoff return for a touchdown to start the second half helped ignite Minnesota, which took a 21-14 advantage into the fourth quarter after Adrian Peterson barreled in the end zone from one yard out. Following a Tony Romo touchdown pass to rookie Dez Bryant to even the game at 21-21, Ryan Longwell's 38-yard field goal with four minutes remaining was the difference in a 24-21 victory by Minnesota.

The Giants looked like a train-wreck following consecutive losses to the Colts and Titans, but Tom Coughlin's club bounced back nicely with three straight victories. New York finished off this hot streak with a 28-20 triumph over Detroit last week, despite not covering as ten-point home favorites. Ahmad Bradshaw got the running game going with 133 yards, his second game of at least 100 yards on the ground in the last three weeks.

New York has an opportunity to sit in first place by themselves with a victory after the Eagles fell at Tennessee. However, if the Giants lose at Dallas, there will be a three-way tie atop the division with New York, Philadelphia, and Washington all sitting at 4-3.

The Cowboys will be looking to avenge a pair of losses to the Giants last season, including a 33-31 shootout victory by New York to open up the new Cowboys Stadium. The lead changed hands nine times in that game, capped off by Lawrence Tynes' 37-yard field goal at the gun as the Giants cashed outright as three-point underdogs. The quarterback battle that night was won by Eli Manning, who outgained Romo through the air, 330-127, while the Cowboys' gunslinger tossed three interceptions.

In the second meeting at the old Meadowlands, the Giants held off the Cowboys, 31-24, while cashing as a one-point underdog. Dallas outgained New York, 424-327, while holding the ball for nearly 39 minutes. The Giants put up 17 unanswered points after trailing 17-14, as Domenik Hixon's 79-yard punt return for a touchdown sealed the win for New York.

This has been a difficult series to analyze from a historical standpoint as the two teams have split the last eight meetings, while the home club has gone 4-4 SU and 4-3-1 ATS. The 'over' has hit at a more consistent rate, going 5-2-1 in this span, including last season's pair of 'overs.' Dallas is 0-3 SU/ATS as a favorite this season, while the Giants are 11-5 ATS as a road underdog since 2007.

The Cowboys are listed as three-point favorite, but you would have to lay $1.20 or $1.25 to lay just the field goal. In another spots, Dallas is sneaking up to 3 ½, while laying the standard $1.10. The total sits at a steady 44 ½ across the board after opening up at 46 last Sunday night.

Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood:

Two more double-digit underdogs cashed on Sunday as the Browns and Bills each took home the money. Cleveland pulled off one of the bigger shockers of the season with a 30-17 win at New Orleans as 12-point underdogs. Buffalo blew a big lead in a 37-34 overtime setback at Baltimore, as the Bills remain the only winless team in the NFL at 0-6.

Tennessee overcame a slow start in a 37-19 thrashing of Philadelphia, the third straight win for the Titans. Questions at the quarterback position will surface again this week after Kerry Collins led the Titans to another victory, while Kevin Kolb struggled in the second half. Andy Reid has an extra week to decide who will start a crucial home game against Indianapolis in two weeks, as the Eagles' head coach is leaning towards Michael Vick, who hopes his rib injury will heal enough to play.

A very questionable ruling at the end of the Steelers' 23-22 victory over the Dolphins, as Pittsburgh failed to cover as three-point road 'chalk.' Ben Roethlisberger dove for the go-ahead score in the final three minutes, but lost the ball as he was crossing the plane of the end zone. The ruling following the challenge determined that Big Ben fumbled the ball; however, the officials couldn't determine who recovered the ball. Pittsburgh received the ball at one and kicked the go-ahead field goal to pick up its fifth win on the season. My question is, how come the officials on the field didn't figure out who recovered the ball initially without assistance from the replay?

What Bettors Need To Know

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys (-3, 44.5)

ODDS

The Cowboys are 3 to 3.5-point favorites at different sportsbooks and the oddsmakers are more content to adjust the moneyline associated with the pointspread than to move on and off the key number. Since favorites win by exactly 3 points nearly 10-percent of the time, some sportsbooks have Dallas -3 -125, while others have the Cowboys -3.5 +105.

The over/under line has held steady all week at 44.5, even though 70 percent of the public is supporting the over according to the Covers.com consensus.

INJURY REPORT

Dallas offensive guard Kyle Kosier will not play Monday as Kosier suffered a strained right Achilles on the last drive of the first half of the Minnesota game. Montrae Holland will start at left guard while Kosier is sidelined. Holland also started the season opener against Washington.

Dallas wide receiver Dez Bryant (ankle), linebacker Bradie James (knee), right tackle Marc Colombo (knee) and center Andre Gurode (knee) all practiced Saturday and are listed as probable.

For the Giants, fullback Madison Hedgecock (hamstring) and defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka (neck) are out. Receiver Hakeem Nicks (hamstring) and defensive ends Justin Tuck (ankle) and Osi Umenyiora (knee) are all probable.

NOT IN OUR HOUSE

Jerry Jones and his Cowboys opened their spectacular $1.2 billion stadium in a national spotlight game against the New York Giants last September. The grand-opening festivities didn’t go as planned after the Giants beat the Cowboys 33-31.

After the win, quarterback Eli Manning went into the visitor's locker room and wrote his name on the wall. He added the date and score, and added this line: ‘First win in the new stadium.’

After learning of Manning’s penmanship, Dallas linebacker Bradie James said last year, “We won’t forget that.”

When pressed about it, Manning made the excuse that somebody in the Cowboys’ organization asked him to do it. He has since confessed that he made that up, and that isn’t sitting too well with the Cowboys.

”It wasn’t anybody from our organization that asked him,” head coach Wade Phillips said. “Things come back around in this league. I respect the team we play. That’s the way I approach the game and I expect our players to do the same thing.”

ORDERS FROM THE OWNER

Dallas comes into this game at just 1-4 straight-up. The Cowboys’ season is hanging on by a thread and there is a lot of tension inside of America’s Team. Owner Jerry Jones has always been a hands-on type and, with the season on the verge of disaster, Jones gave his team a simple message on Monday.

”Put up or shut up,” Jones said. “You guys, we have everything in place. I’ve made the team sort of what it is right now. Everyone is playing well on this team, but the way we are playing is (selfish), undisciplined. We have got to find some way to stop being our own Achilles’ heel and win some games.”

DeMarcus Ware sees that the team as focused saying there’s more of a sense of urgency.

Coach Phillips agrees: “We practiced with a lot of determination. I see resolve. I see a lot of willpower, guys wanting to do the right thing.”

MR. OCTOBER

Giants quarterback Eli Manning has owned the month of October since coming into the league back in 2004. He is 19-4 as a starter in October, good for a .826 winning percentage. Manning’s October record is better than any quarterback in NFL history with at lease 20 starts since the Super Bowl era began back in 1967.

To put Manning’s record into perspective, look at some of the records of the current, upper-echelon quarterbacks in the NFL: Tom Brady (25-8, .757), Philip Rivers (8-10, .444), Ben Roethlisberger (17-5, .772), Brett Favre (37-29, .560) and Peyton Manning (33-14, .702).

”It’s about being prepared,” Manning said. “It’s about being ready for situations that are thrown at you. A lot of times you make your own luck or make your own bad luck.”

Monday's Best NFL Bet

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys (-3, 44.5)

Bitter rivals collide at Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, as the Dallas Cowboys play host to the New York Giants in an NFL betting battle that might be an absolute must win for the home team.

The Giants have to feel like they’re playing with house money at this point in the year. They have a 4-2 mark and are firmly entrenched in the postseason picture at this point. The team is rolling, having won three straight games. They just narrowly missed out on covering the Detroit Lions last week, which would have made three straight ‘W’s against the NFL odds as well. Injury concerns are mounting, though. DE Justin Tuck and WR Hakeem Nicks have both sat out of practice during the week, while DE Mathias Kiwanuka is already out for the foreseeable future with a herniated disc. LB Keith Bulluck has missed three straight games, but his toe has apparently healed, as he’ll be expected to give it a go on Monday Night Football. Still, this defense ranks No. 2 in the NFL in pass defense at 172.0 yards per game, and is second overall at 264.8 yards per game allowed. DE Osi Umenyiora has been a man on a mission this year. He has eight sacks, seven of which have come in the L/3 weeks, and he also has six forced fumbles in that stretch to boot.

It is definitely do or die time for the Cowboys. HC Wade Phillips has been assured that his job is safe for the remainder of the season, but that doesn’t mean that Jerry Jones won’t change his mind by the middle of the week if his team struggles again and drops to 1-5. The loss last week to the Minnesota Vikings featured 11 more penalties, which only extend Dallas’ lead in the flags department this year in spite of the fact that it has already had its bye week. Ironically, this team just can’t win a game at home, as its only win this year has come at Reliant Stadium against the Houston Texans. The offense is averaging 305.0 yards per game this year through the air and 400.0 yards per game in total. Both numbers rank Dallas in the Top 5 in the NFL coming into this weekend. Defensively, it’s much of the same. Holding teams to just 180.6 yards per game passing and 281.4 yards per game in total is good enough to be No. 4 in both categories in the league. The flags and some other careless mistakes have really put these guys behind the eight ball all season long.

Dallas is just too good to drop to 1-5, right? The Giants are banged up and are probably looking forward to their bye week. With the schedule that they have faced, there is no shame in a 4-3 start to the season. Just getting to 2-4 is the first step towards the revival in Big D.

KINGS (5-2-0) at WILD (3-3-1)

TV: Versus, TSN2.

Season Series: This is the first of four meetings between the teams this season. They split the 2009-10 season series as each team won twice. The Kings have won three of their last four in Minnesota.

Big Story: Los Angeles is on a roll with four wins in its last five games, but will likely play Monday night without two key players. Drew Doughty is expected to miss his third straight contest with an upper-body injury, while Wayne Simmonds could be punished by the League for his actions involving Colorado forward T.J. Galiardi on Saturday.

TEAM SCOPE:

Kings: Los Angeles blew leads of 1-0, 2-1 and 4-2 Saturday night, but Brad Richardson tallied a hat trick and helped the Kings escape with a 6-4 win against the Avalanche at the Pepsi Center. His second goal came shorthanded and broke a 4-4 tie.

"It does feel good to get it against your old team, for sure," said Richardson, who spent his first three seasons with Colorado and was traded to Los Angeles in June 2008 for a second-round draft pick. "There are no hard feelings. It was great to play here. I loved being here, but it's a little sweeter."

Wild: Monday marks the third game in five days for Minnesota, which earned a 4-2 win at Edmonton on Thursday before dropping a 3-1 decision at Vancouver on Friday. The power play struggled mightily against the Canucks, who killed all four of the Wild's man advantages, including a 5-on-3 in the second period. Jose Theodore made 30 saves in his debut with the club.

"Theodore played well, he gave us a chance to get a point or earn a win here and that's all you can ask of your goalie," coach Todd Richards said. "And then your goalie plays great for you all game and you make some poor decisions coming down the stretch and leave him hanging out to dry."

Who's Hot: Is it possible for everyone on the Kings to be hot? Twelve of their 18 skaters notched a point against the Avalanche. Dustin Brown scored his team-leading fourth goal of the season in the win. … Matt Cullen, who signed with the Wild as a free agent last summer, leads the team with 9 points (3 goals, 6 assists).

Injury Report: Doughty will not play for the Kings on Monday. Scott Parse (groin) is day-to-day. … Minnesota winger Pierre-Marc Bouchard is out as he continues to suffer from post-concussion syndrome. Cam Barker suffered a groin injury on Thursday against the Oilers and was not in the lineup Friday. Josh Harding is likely done for the season with a torn ACL and MCL, and James Sheppard (knee) is out 3-4 months.

Stat Pack: Prior to Saturday's offensive outburst, Brad Richardson had just 30 goals in 254 NHL games. He's never scored more than 14 goals in a season at the NHL level.

Puck Drop: "The power play can win you a game but the penalty kill can lose you a game. It ended up tonight that the penalty killing was outstanding at a critical time. We kept the flow going. Lots of guys were intense and on the puck and doing the right things. It was a great team effort in the last 10 minutes of the third period.'' -- Kings coach Terry Murray after Saturday's win at Colorado.

Monday's Best NHL Bets

Phoenix Coyotes at Montreal Canadiens (-140, 5)

Nobody’s calling for Jaroslav Halak anymore in Montreal.

Carey Price is coming off a 19-save shutout – his first in almost two years – over the Ottawa Senators and is 4-2-1 with a 2.27 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage to start the year.

While a 19-save shutout doesn’t sound like much, Price made a number of huge saves and is controlling his rebounds much better than he was last year when Halak took the Habs on their ride in the playoffs while Price watched from the bench.

“It’s scary when he starts playing like that,” Montreal defenseman P.K. Subban told reporters after Saturday’s win. “To be honest with you, I think he’s one of the best goalies in the NHL right now. I don’t see too many guys who are better. He makes those second and third saves and gives us a chance to win.”

Montreal has also outshot its last four opponents by a margin of 131-81, so they’re doing a lot of good things in front of Price as well.

Meanwhile, The Coyotes have just one regulation win in their last 14 meetings with the Canadiens.

Pick: Montreal Canadiens

Los Angeles Kings at Minnesota Wild (-115, 5.5)

The Los Angeles Kings have a ton of talent on the roster, but that hasn’t translated into much for them on the power play so far this year.

They managed a couple of goals with the man advantage in a 6-4 win over the Colorado Avalanche to move their power play efficiency to a whopping 11.1 percent so far this year.

On the other hand, the Wild own the league’s best power play at 38.7 percent. Matt Cullen has been a big part of that after coming over from the Carolina Hurricanes in the offseason.

“That was one thing with (Hurricane head coach) Peter Laviolette, it was unreal, every time I would step over the boards, he would tell me to shoot the puck,” Cullen told reporters. “That kind of hammers it into your head to get pucks at the net. I think that’s been a key for our power play. Our power play is not getting caught up in trying to make too many plays and too many passes."

Cullen leads the team with nine points through seven games.

Pick: Minnesota Wild

Bettors' Best Friend (BBF): Monday's Wagering Tips

Lines To Watch

The Dallas Cowboys opened as 3.5-point favorites against the New York Giants but are now listed at -3 at most books.

Weather To Watch

Meteorologists expect 16 mph winds out of the south for Monday night’s Giants-Cowboys game.

Who’s Hot

New York Giants are 19-7 ATS in their last 26 road games.

Los Angeles Kings have won six of their last eight meetings with the Minnesota Wild.

Who’s Not

The Philadelphia Flyers have lost three of their last five despite averaging more than 35 shots per game over that stretch.

The Phoenix Coyotes are 1-10-3 in their last 14 games against the Montreal Canadiens.

Key Stat

1 – number of teams in the Super Bowl era that have started the season 1-5, but rebounded to make the playoffs. The 1970 Cincinnati Bengals were the only team to pull it off out of 148 1-5 squads. The Dallas Cowboys have started the year 1-4.

Injury That Shouldn’t Be Overlooked

Lawrence Tynes (ankle), New York Giants kicker: Tynes is expected to play against Dallas after suffering from a sprained non-kicking ankle. The Giants have released Shayne Graham, who filled in for him in Week 6’s 28-20 win over Detroit. Tynes is 5-of-8 with his field goal tries this season but has only made two of his last five attempts.

Game Of The Day

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys (-3, 44.5)

Notable Quotable

"I still can't believe they are 1-4 with all the talent they got on that team. Something's not right there but we definitely know they are still a very good football team. It gives us a great opportunity to put more distance between the two of us." – Giants tight end Kevin Boss on the Dallas Cowboys’ season leading up to Monday night’s game.

Notes And Tips

The Dallas Cowboys’ DeMarcus Ware has Eli Manning’s number. Ware has sacked Manning eight times in 11 career meetings and sits third in the NFL with seven total sacks this season. Ware also has 72 tackles and forced a couple of fumbles lifetime against the Giants.

The Los Angeles Kings forward Wayne Simmonds could face discipline from the NHL after he was given a five-minute major and a game misconduct for butt-ending Colorado’s T.J. Galiardi in the groin. The league is currently reviewing the incident. Meanwhile, the Kings are already without Drew Doughty, who is out for about a week with an upper-body injury.

Columbus Blue Jackets coach Scott Arniel made some serious changes to his lines following a 6-2 loss to the Calgary Flames on Friday. Captain Rick Nash was matched up with center Derick Brassard and right winger Jake Voracek, while Antoine Vermette skated with R.J. Umberger and Derek Dorsett on the second line. Columbus responded with a 3-2 win over the Chicago Blackhawks Saturday.
